About Us

Over 33 years ago, Owner Terri Hurlbert had a dream of opening her own boutique. With babies at home and the many responsibilities that came with being a wife, mother, sister, and so much more, dedicating time to a storefront wasn’t quite possible yet.

So, Terri started right from home, displaying an array of items across her formal dining room table and inviting her closest friends and confidants to come shop.

From there, her dream continued to grow. She opened a Christmas store, followed by a Valentine’s Day pop-up, and eventually opened the Truly Trendy storefront you know and love today.

What started as a dream around her dining room table has grown into a beloved boutique built on faith, family, friendship, and a whole lot of heart. Today, Terri is the sole owner of Truly Trendy and is incredibly excited for everything still ahead.

The butterfly has always been a meaningful part of the Truly Trendy brand. It represents rebirth, new life in Christ, beauty, and grace.
